Photographer. Cameraman. Editor.
I have been on assignments to 50 countries and captured the stories of major world events. There I experienced the slums of Kenya, the war-torn streets of Iraq and the devastating aftermath of both 911, and hurricane Katrina. I have witnessed the mourning crowds paying tribute to Princess Diana, the victorious crowds celebrating Obamas’ Presidential Election and a gun fuelled funeral parade through Gaza city. Twice I have been shot at, once the bullet grazed my right eyebrow and could have ended my career if not killed me, but my God kept me on this journey of forty-eight years.
These experiences have shaped the way I look at the world, they have impacted my life and given me a compassion for people that influence my work.
Every day is another opportunity to capture something new and exciting, and with the Lord’s strength, I will continue for years to come.
